1. Following working time and flexitime

You can follow working time and flexitime on the "Reporting - Own sessions" page. If your company is using work-time clock to follow working time and flexitime, choose the "Cumulative shifts" tab. If your company is using Timecard or Timesheet to follow flexitime, choose the "Cumulative hours" tab.

On both tabs on top of the page, you can see total hours, flexitime for the current year and total flexitime where also previous years' flexitime is taken into account.

On the middle of the page you can see how working time and flexitime has accumulated on a monthly basis. By clicking a month, you can see them on a weekly and a daily basis.

If the flexitime is green, the employee's working time entries for the day (month) are equal to or higher than the working hour targets. If the flexitime is red, it means that the cumulative working time entries are lower than the working hour targets, and the flexitime is negative. The little green number next to the flexitime shows the amount of working time for that day (month) and the little red number shows the working hour targets. The little gray number below the flexitime shows the total cumulative flexitime on that day.

2. Viewing and editing shifts (work-time clock)

If you click on a particular day on the "Cumulative shifts" tab, it opens up a daily view where you can see a list of all shifts for that day. On top of the window there is a summary of different working types for that day.

It is possible to make the following changes to the entries:
  • Start time: The change is made directly into the "Start" cell. The new value is saved when you click outside of the cell
  • End time: The change is made directly into the "Ended" cell. The new value is saved when you click outside of the cell
  • Type: You can change the type of the entry from the dropdown menu
  • Comment: You can leave a comment to explain why you had to edit the shift.
  • Removing an entry: You can remove an entry by clicking the "Remove" button next to the entry
  • Creating a new entry:
    • Define a start time and an end time or only the working hours to the "Hours" field
    • Also define a working type for the entry
    • Click the "+ Save" button

If you cannot edit your shifts, please contact your own company's admin user.

3. Viewing and editing sessions

If you click on a particular day on the "Cumulative hours" tab, it opens up a daily view where you can see a list of all sessions for that day. On top of the list you can see an "Excel" button which you can use to import all your sessions into an Excel file. There are also different tabs for viewing the sessions: you can view them by customer or task.

If you need to edit a session, click it on the list which opens the edit window. Note that you can only edit uninvoiced sessions.

After you have done the necessary changes, click on the "Save" button. You can read more about editing sessions from this article: 2.2.2 Timecard - Editing session on the "Unconfirmed"-tab

If the session has already been invoiced or archived, or editing sessions is blocked from employees, you should ask your company's admin user to edit the session.

Partition

If you want to partition the session's hours to other customers, click on the "Partition" link on the edit window. Go to the "Partition by hand" page. Add a new row from the "+Customer" button. Choose the desired customer from the dropdown menu. Set the amount of hours that is partitioned for this customer. After you have chosen all customers, click on the "Partit" button.

After the partition each customer gets their own session for that day.
