Non-recurring assignments are a great tool for managing work that is not done repeatedly. Employees can create non-recurring assignments for themselves using model templates. Model templates can be created by admin users on the management side of Koho. Read more about creating assignment templates from this article: 3.5.1 Creating a new assignment template.

Creating a non-recurring assignment
Once the feature has been activated and the admin user has created some model templates, non-recurring assignments can be created on the "Edit assignments" page from the "+Assignment (one-time)" button.
On the assignment window you can make the following definitions:
- Customer: First find the customer that the assignment will be allocated to.
- Template: Then choose the template that is used as a model for this assignment.
- Name: You can edit the assignment's name. As a default name is the same as in the model template.
- Employees: Define the responsible employees for the assignment by clicking on the field and choosing the employees from the list. You can create separate assignments for each employee by choosing the "Separate assignments" field.
- Date: You can edit the start date for the assignment. You can also update the requirements to match the start the by clicking the "Update requirements" button.
- Task: Choose the task that will be used to invoice the customer.
- Requirements: You can edit and add requirements for the assignment and give them deadlines. The requirements function as a "to-do list" for the assignment and they can be seen e.g. on the calendar. If you want to remove a requirement, choose the "Remove" field before saving the assignment.
- Add product: You can add products to the assignment from the dropdown menu. These products are added automatically to the session when all of the requirements for this assignment have been marked as complete. You can delete products by clicking the "Delete" button.
- Save: Finally save the assignment and then it can be found from the responsible persons assignments list.
