1. Adding a phase from a project plan to the Timesheet

In this article we will look at how you can use Timesheet and project plans to track working time. First you need to add a project plan's phase and a task to your Timesheet. Click the "+Add" button to add a task.

On the "Add tasks" window you can see a list of all projects. When you click on a project, it opens the projects's tasks and project plan and its phases. Choose the tasks you want to add from the "+Add" button. After you have added all the tasks, you can close the window.

On the "Add tasks" window you can filter the projects by selecting a responsible person from the "Responsibility" menu. With the selection "Show only responsible projects" you can see only projects that you are responsible for. You can search for a project or a customer on the search bar.

2. Tracking working time for project phases

After this you can see the selected phases and tasks on the Timesheet and you can start tracking working time for them.

On the upper row of the project plan you can see a combined internal budget for the plan. Each phase has its own row which will show their due date and budget, if they have been set. On the right side of the row, there is a "Complete" link which marks the phase as complete. On a completed phase the link text changes to "Completed".
