To track time in Koho, customers must have at least one active project with visible tasks. If you are unable to track hours for a customer, the most probable reason is that the customer doesn’t have a project, or their project doesn’t have tasks in it.

You can check this easily from the "Projects" section. Go to the "Active" tab and click "Edit".


This will open a mass edit tool for your projects. You can also use it to check which ones of your customers don’t have a project. From the "Selection" menu choose option "Customers without a project" and click "Select".  

Now the list shows only customers that don’t have a project. Click the "Create project" button to create a project for the customer. 

In the new window you can quickly create a new project for the customer. Choose a task template and give the project a name. Now you can start tracking time for the customer!
